15 September 2022 H.E. Mr. Armen Yedigarian, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary presented the Letters of Credence to H.E. Mr. Stevo Pendarovski, President of the Republic of North Macedonia.

In his remarks, Ambassador Yedigarian noted that it is a special honour to be the first Ambassador of Armenia to North Macedonia.

Ambassador Yedigarian presented his intentions to work toward laying the foundations for the long term mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries, activation of contacts between two peoples, promotion of cultural, educational exchanges, development of two-way tourism, deepening of the economic ties, activation of cooperation in the fields of trade and investments, and the sustained political dialogue and reciprocal support in international organizations.

Ambassador Yedigarian presented president Pendarovski the current situation in our region.

On the same day Ambassador Yedigarian presented the copies of the Letters of Credence to H.E. Mr. Bujar Osmani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of North Macedonia.

Ambassador Yedigarian noted that the Armenian side is ready to develop relations with North Macedonia in all the fields of mutual interest.

Ambassador Yedigarian touched upon the bilateral agenda items and the latest developments in the South Caucasus region, discussed questions related to the upcoming Chairmanship of the Republic of North Macedonia in the OSCE.

Ambassador Yedigarian had also meetings with the high-ranking officials of the Ministry, and met with the representatives of the Armenian community.
