Ambassador Yedigarian participated in the opening of the Exhibition “Memory”

04 October 2022 Ambassador Armen Yedigarian participated in the opening of the Exhibition “Memory” dedicated to the Centennial Anniversary of the first mass arrival of Armenian refugees in Bulgaria and 30th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Bulgaria.

In his address Ambassador Yedigarian noted that the historical memory of Armenian-Bulgarian friendship, fraternity, shared difficulties, tragedies and joint struggles for freedom is irreplaceable and decisive for the nature and strength of our relations.

The Armenian community of Bulgaria today keeps its specific role as a bridge between the two peoples and states, contributing also to the maintenance of efficient ties and cooperation.

The opening was attended by H. E. Mr. Lazar Manolov Lazarov, Caretaker Deputy Prime Minister for Social Policies and Minister of Labor and Social Policy, Ms. Kritiela Simeonova, Head of the Cabinet of Vice President Iliana Yotova, ambassadors, members of the diplomatic corps accredited in Bulgaria and representatives of Armenian community and Bulgarian public.
