The Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia received the Vice-President of the Bulgaria-Armenia Friendship Group of the Bulgarian National Assembly

On January 26, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan received a delegation headed by Manoil Manev, Vice-President of the Bulgaria–Armenia Friendship Group of the National Assembly of Bulgaria.

The parties discussed opportunities for further advancing bilateral relations. An exchange of views took place on prospects for strengthening political dialogue, interparliamentary cooperation, and economic ties, as well as expanding cooperation between Armenia and Bulgaria in the fields of information technologies, energy, and other areas of mutual interest.

The interlocutors further discussed avenues for cooperation in addressing challenges related to democratic development, including efforts to counter hybrid threats.

Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan briefed the interlocutors on the ongoing efforts towards the implementation of the “TRIPP” project, highlighting the newly emerging opportunities for cooperation between Armenia and Bulgaria in the field of communications.
