Program on Cooperation in the field of Education and Science was signed in Sofia

23 November, 2023 the ceremony of signing the Program between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the Government of the Republic of Bulgaria on Cooperation in the field of Education and Science for the period 2023-2027 was held in Sofia.

On behalf of the Armenian side, Ambassador Armen Yedigarian and on behalf of the Bulgarian side, Minister of Education and Science Galin Tsokov signed the Program.

Ambassador Armen Yedigarian noted that the new Program signifies the continuous strong commitment to the furthering collaboration in the field of education and science, and the exchange of knowledge and expertise, and it is aimed at enhancing the educational opportunities, nurturing talent - thus shaping a brighter future particularly for the younger generation.

He added that Armenia and Bulgaria maintain excellent relations of friendship and cooperation based on the shared, European values and cultural closeness, and the centuries-long unbreakable bonds between Armenian and Bulgarian peoples.
